Thurlow Steam & Country Show
This Years show was helped by the weather which on the whole was OK (at least while the general public were there.)
There was a lot to see from vintage tractors, classic cars, militaryy vehicles, quite a good number of steam engines and of course a good turnout of Stationary engines.
There was also some good entertainment in the Grand ring, with a reasonably spectacular Stunt show which seemed in the main to have the aim of setting fire to one guy all the time, I will post a couple of pics in due course.
Good old faithful
A very unusual engine in this country is this Moffat-Virtue, imported from Australia. Shown driving an Argosy pump.
This is owned by Alan Cullen from East Grinstead in West Sussex, quite a long way to travel.
A very nice Horsby oil engine
This idiot spent most of the weekend setting fire to himself, he is actually riding the bike. Good entertainment however.
Next trick, climb up 50 ft. set fire to yourself, then throw yourself off. Nothing strange about that !!!!!!!
