My Collection of Lister D Engines

See separate link from main menu for the Lister Pumpset and The Tuke and Bell Pump unit

I  purchased 4 more Lister Ds (I must be a glutton for punishment) in mid 2002. The first two are very rusty, but running, one of which is a very early shaft drive mag example. The second two are a hopper cooled model, and a DK petrol paraffin model, these two are in restored about class 2 but I want to ensure the mechanical condition is OK and repaint both.

The 6th engine listed here, purchased in 2003 is on an original wheelbarrow trolley which I intend restoring and putting the shaft drive mag engine on.

The details are in the table below, click on the appropriate button to view details and pictures of each engine and its eventual restoration.

Latest addition to the Lister Family is a Sheep Shearing set on an original Lister Wheelbarrow Trolley. I had to dismantle the Sheep Shearing equipment to bring it home, this will probably be the next engine to be restored. Details and pics will follow.

2011, I have thinned the collection, see below.

I still intend to finish the spec 13 but I may exhibit the 28DH on its original trolley.
